Tough enough for Alaska weather! Reel Power’s galvanized and weather-proofed HJK3 take-up machine is shown here, operating on the deck of a research vessel in the Beaufort Sea, North of Alaska. The take up is utilized to coil various buoy strings that have been pulled onto the deck and that need coiling up for inspection and for ease of deployment when needed.

Reel Power is proud to be a part of the current wire rope repair project on the Golden Gate Bridge. Upon its completion in 1937, it was the tallest and longest suspension bridge in the world.
